Master László Borsody was acknowledged as one of the greatest fencing masters of all times. His influence helped to create Hungarian sabre fencing.
The introduction of parries begins with light touches by the coach as we can see at around minute 9 of the video. Head cuts are the only reposte targets used at the beginning of this lesson and counter repostes are not used often at this stage. However, the coach does open the distance after being parried in order to work the long reposte.
